Morning,

Is the flash chip the one that I got recently, that has the no noticeable difference?

Can I write back to the chip via aldl?

How do I decide on a tune

Cheers

The 27SF512 is a flash chip

Probably best to get yourself Eprom Programmer

Just modify what you already have or start from a stock Holden bin. You will learn a lot that way.

Yes the flash chip is the new one. You still need the burner but you won't need an eraser.

you can only write back over aldl if you have an operating system on the car that supports it, nvram hardware and a modded pcm. you cant write the eeprom chip you have over aldl. It sounds like your pretty new to this, I suggest you hit the FAQ (green button up near the top right) and have a look at the guides and see if it starts making sense. Short version is you need tunerpro, a bin as starting point (the version kojab posted), and the matching xdf to edit it. you need a matchinhg adx to pull data from the car while its running. These questions have been asked a lot of times, you should be able to learn a lot from the guides and some of the Q&A in the FAQ.

Hi

Does any one have a link to a burner you'd recommend?
The cheaper the better.

Cheers

Hi Antus,

Yes I'm pretty new to this. I now know how to pull Bins from ecm, potentially adjust parameters by sliding bars ect.
I have recently learnt to open the Bin.
Add items to sensor data.

Very new otherwise.
Learning to be done

Morning,

I've looked on ebay.
Does any one have a burner listing they recommend?

Cheers

This is an aussie seller, good quality product. https://darkwire.com.au/shop/ols/produc ... programmer

You can probably go a little cheaper on ebay for any type of minipro programmer, but you'll most likely be waiting a while for shipping from China and even though the ones Ive seen work fine, you never know exactly for sure whats going to arrive and generally you wouldnt want to trust anything on the cd included and go to the official web site instead. The software is OK, but not exactly newbie friendly.

From my experience cheapest is not always best. I see Darkwire is on holidays but they are quality. China makes some really good rubbish.
