dont forget to add the the high rpm timing addon KADVSLOP: EST params - F1 table Extension Slope your tune was 10 degrees so from 4800 upwards every 1000rpm adds 10 degrees
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem

Okay, something funny is going on. Had a look at the $03 BBMM VP V6 LPG bin and compared it with $FB BAAM0265 VP V6 auto petrol bin and $FB BAAN VP V6 manual petrol bin and all three have the same advance curve! Copied and pasted the tables to a spreadsheet and subtracted the corresponding cells to make sure, and yep. So what's going on here?

Edit -> Now looking at VT V6 LPG & petrol and they are different, but lots more columns for MAP.
Edit -> Edit -> Not MAP but mgc. What's that? something to do with MAF?

VT petrol and LPG WOT curves. The LPG curve looks as crude as mine. Why has it got more advance than the petrol one? And what's all this negative degrees in the table? ATDC?

They are way different things. I thought this was going to be easy peasy. How can I correlate one set of units with the other???

thats the hard thing.... you cant mathematically line them up... MGC is how many crams of air is entering the cylinder, wheras map is the air pressure in the intake manifold... different cam / exhaust / engines all correlate differently. the onyl way we have been able to is if you run a map sensor AND a airflow meter on a car and log them at the same time while driving to figure it out.
you can get WOT pretty easily just hold it flat and log MGC and that will be equal to 100 kpa... its hte part throttle thats hard to get right.

yes the negative degrees is when it is firing after TDC...

i did the map sensor on ecotec for a while to get a nice map based spark table for the ecotec, you can use the injector monitor line input to do it if you wanted to.

Why are you going away from the map based LPG stock timing figures?
I'm guessing I used a VR V6 LPG based tune copied the timing table into excel, then got same based VR Petrol tune & copied timing table in excel & then subtract 1 from other in excel & copy the difference into base petrol timing table for your tune!
I don't think I used excel, can do it in TP5 but it's easier to explain with excel!

I didn't see the VR & VS(?) LPG bins. Much better idea. Now if I could only find $2A, $76A, $76B XDFs for them...

I notice memcals.com is dead, so just for the record and to get it in to google, i'll drop a local link to the memcal/program list here: http://pcmhacking.net/memcals.html
Have you read the FAQ? For lots of information and links to significant threads see here: http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1396
