Post by Grumpy-ss »

Hey guys I'm on the hunt for some where or maybe some one on hear that could
Give my manual vs ss a tune to get it running befor I get it dyno tuned
It's got a vs auto ecu so I need it set up for a manual .
The engine specs r
304 vt roller block ,flat tops,30thu of the heads ,11:1 comp , lightly ported heads , custom roller cam with .569 intake and .579exhaust lift and a lsa of 110 , harrop hi rise single plane manifold, Bosch blue top injectors , pacemakers with no cat and a 2-1/2 Exhuast

If you have no luck here, although there is plenty of capable tuners here. There is a bloke on eBay (don't brush him off because of eBay) he don't advertise anymore. Username nice frog. He is a friend of mine. He does great tunes without "seeing" the car. At worst the tune will need a touch up but after he is done I don't think you will need a dyno tune, and he is VERY cheap and experienced. Aka Greenfoam

More so not tuning at all, sick of dealing with dick heads.
He can be talked into it though. He still enjoys it.

He is not on ebay not for a long time and a big thread on aussie v8 where he kept someones memcal
and takes weeks to contact or months to send the memcal back.
No way id use him. I also thought they were too cheap seeing as
memcals in bulk arent easy to come by and wreckers do not want to seperate.
Gotta make something imo and most understand that.
Thread http://www.aussiev8.com.au/holden-v8s/5 ... nfoam.html
No one can contact him without issue and his service is shocking.
Tune might be ok if you actually get it.
I do the exact same thing mail tunes for stock 304s and also tune ls1s with efi live.
Also on ebay too user 1holdenman my tunes are just as good if not better
2-3 day turnaround and i also tune locally and in some cases go where the work is.
Feedback doesnt lie either.

Yeah we can leave the links up and people can make of them what they will, but lets leave the subject alone on this site as greenfoam is not and never has been a member here - I'd rather keep us out of it.
Have you read the FAQ? For lots of information and links to significant threads see here: http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1396
