yeah its good food for thought, everything new seems to run hot thermostats, but with me building a 304 for a tow rig, i'd prefer to go the slightly cooler thermostat for that safety barrier!

hi.
i know its not exactly what you want, but, i had two thermos on my VN 304 in my hilux. they were SHIT - i overheated my engine trying to use them.
i got a derale steel fan, a VK waterpump and spacer (i run a commodore radiator) and built my own shroud.
i do not have overheating issues any more.
also remove the rubber crap things in the wheel wells between the engine and the wheel well to get all that hot air out of there.
