Wanted a beginners kit!

Post by Hotwheelsmick »

I pride myself in knowing and researching things and I just can't get my head around this Delco tuning jargon as much as I read, I struggle to really understand exactly what I have to buy to tune a Delco ecu

I have personally turbocharged over 10 v6 Commodores both buicks and ecotecs
But that's as far as I've gone they get boosted and then sold

I've just completed turbocharging a VS 5 litre and I want to actually tune it myself to get the most out of it.

Can someone help me with links of exactly everything that is required to tune the Delco with my laptop

So far all I can understand is buy a aldl cable of eBay and download tuner pro

Thanks in advance

I thought Biggvl was putting together a starter kit for the novice tuner?

Thanks for the reply fellas, vl400 yeah I haven't read that page must of missed it but I've read your beginners guide like 3-4 times trying to figure out what I actually needed to buy

I'll pm you biggvl, I just need to the ball rolling and I should he able to figure it out once I have the bits and pieces
But until then it's all just jargon that I don't understand

I could make a lot more money if I actually got all these turbo cars tuned but no one around me does it

Out of interest, was wondering what this beginners kit came with.
I've sent a few heads here over the time I've been a member, kills me spending time on the phone helping others for their own projects when my own just keeps getting pushed back further.
