Re: vn v6 2 bar tune
if you have a search on here i think there was someone else doing similar, there might be a 12p tune around.

Re: vn v6 2 bar tune
this is one I did for a mates S1 VN with SC14, it only ever saw 6psi from memory, and the engine was stock, so not sure how close it will be but would probably get you started anyways.
its OSE $12P v1.12 - APNX based.

No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

sorry for the dig up of an old thread, just wondering if i could borrow this tune for my covid project? I'm pretty clueless when it comes to this so correct me if i am wrong i could essentially burn this bin to a eprom and away i go...? cheers

Yes, thats right, just make sure the chip is the right size, or if its larger that it ends in the right address (not starts). It looks like this one is 12P v112 which is the current version still, so editable and loggable with the current 12P package. Also check the MAP sensor flags are set up to match the sensor type (2 or 3 bar) that you are running.
Have you read the FAQ? For lots of information and links to significant threads see here: http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1396
Re: vn v6 2 bar tune
Is it possible to run this tune without a 02 sensor?
or more correctly will it run without?
I am adding a M90 supercharger to a VN v6 in a boat and have no provisions to add a 02 sensor due to wet exhausts.
Thinking this tune would suit the application perfectly....but id really be keen to hear some expert opinions

Re: vn v6 2 bar tune
theres no issue with having no o2 sensor installed, you can just turn off any error codes that come up from not having it.
that said i would highly recommend some form of a dyno tune etc to ensure that the tune is actually right, as you could quite easily torch the motor if its not.

Thanks gents really appreciate the feedback.
The plan is to run very conservative boost levels, timing and fueling.
I will look at a sneaky way to get an 02 sensor in their as I agree with what's been said as I now feel the extra work and modifications to get it in may well be worth it.
