Ecotec Waterpump Pulley with no Centre Hub

Post by The1 »

As the title has anyone seen the ecotec pulley for waterpump with no centre hub? i have one on my VS which i had to use on my VX due to the pump having a larger hub in the middle, but im having trouble finding another one, perhaps it was cut before got the car? All other pulleys have the hubs enclosed.

Bugger, I'm sure I threw one out about 6 months ago. I'll have a look in the garage tomorrow.

Here's the hubs and also the difference in GMB vs GMB Japan, the one with the hole allow you to run the one with a bigger centre hub.

Like vlad said, I had to use the pulley off my VP buick engine on my replacement ecotec pump... fits perfectly.

Thought it odd too. Sadly it was my only spare sorry.
