Post by BARBS »

Hi guys,

Is anyone here looking to sell an ALDL logger?
I am in desperate need of one for when racing my car at the drags.

Thanks in advance

Whats a decent ALDL to Bluetooth adapter folks are using?
Is there anything readily available and cheap that can be used?

Theres not really anything 'good' thats bluetooth/wifi based at this time.

Im working on a new tool called OBDX Pro GT which supports ALDL, and will have bluetooth. Its not available yet since we cant find somewhere with stock to manufacture it, so we are likely going to buy our own machines to start production.

you can use a samsung phone and aldldroid, that along with a OTG cable and usb comms interface works for me ....

i have a VL400 logger and it has been awesome, but its died recently and i cant fix it so i've been using a samsung phone slid down the side of my leg in the race seat.

I am thinking ill most likely do the same thing on a tablet. I will eventually look at connecting it with Bluetooth once it is available from Tazzie
