Aftermarket Regulator use
What does everyone use for there v6 buick or ecotec as far as fuel setup? i seen these on ebay they might work so you can use the stock rail but change the reg to aftermarket easily.

I have usef saard regs. Buyer beware though. Most are shit clones and need to be done up with rediculous torque to not leak. Seriously about 3x more than you'd think

The OEM reg should be fine.
Standard fuel rail with OEM reg and a 255 litre pump should cover most builds unless you're aiming for more that 500hp.

not using anything other than stock myself, just saw it on ebay and thought, would be interesting to talk about, i think most people especially with L67's tend to go after market rails so they can change there REG.

On my Buick, I just took the barb from the damper side off a spare fuel rail and replaced the factory reg with that. Then you can mount your reg to the throttle cable bracket and run a hose from it to your fuel rail.

It seems a lot of people ditch the L67 fuel rail and fit an ecotec style. The L67 fuel rail is butt ugly the way it runs backward and forwards over the blower. I don't know if it's to change the reg or increase the flow or just for looks?

yeh would heat the fuel quite a bit running over the blower. Possibly also when going W2A or A2A it's to short for the injectors to reach.

Yeah, I had thought about that, with the engine cover fitted it would be very warm around those steel fuel lines.
edit: most A2A and W2A kits come with fuel injector extenders.

This is a guide to using VS ecotec type fuel rails on the L67

I have an old VS rail here so I might have a go at making one of these, just need to sort out another reg to suit the higher 3.5bar fuel pressure.

Yep much cleaner then the stock ones.
You can also feel that the fuel rail is cooler than most of the other parts in the bay when the motor is running. Give it enough time and it does heat up tho.
