But the inlet gaskets on these the way they have them setup is purely just inlet air isn't it & not open to crankcase?

I'm thinking most likely is the valley plate & sensor seals... maybe but it's certainly streaming down from in there & considering it has a catch can it shouldn't have any extra crankcase pressure?

well that all depends if the catch can has a 5/16 or 1 inch breather hose on it :)

mines pissing out the back of the sump! I changed the rear main hoping it was that, coz its a barstard of a job doing the sumps :( ill have to bite the bullet soon, my carport is getting very oily lol

good point about the breather hoses, you would think 2 x 3/8 hoses on the drivers bank & 1 x 3/8 on the passenger bank it would breathe enough to ease oil leaks but obviously not!

With rear main Vs sump leak IMHO it's 6 of 1 & half dozen the other...

The 'K' frame can be left suspended & same with steering rack & suspension if you have a hoist & enough support stands & just drop sump out of the way & clean up & put back together with new gasket & roughly the same time as taking box out & back in...
