I got over 400k in my old vp and only one started playing up the rest still worked fine til the end.
I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.

If the problem starts again check the injector electrical plugs. I have a VR and it had a similar problem which turned out to be slight corrosion on the injector plugs.

Same happens inside the spark plug lead plugs and on the coil posts

thanks heaps for the input.
she reported it did it again once tonight. and it idles rough. i think it idles low(er) because everything is clean and new.

If would try putting original injectors back in and see if problem still happens , was running fine before you changed them , maybe one has an intermittent fault when it gets hot.
Re: Changed Injectors. Idles rough. Occasionally?
+1, if the problem started when the injectors were fitted the first thing to do is to fit the old ones and see if it stops. If it stops you know there was a faulty injector in there, if it doesn't you know to go looking elsewhere. Doing it any other way is just chasing your tail.vn5000 wrote:If would try putting original injectors back in and see if problem still happens , was running fine before you changed them , maybe one has an intermittent fault when it gets hot.

check that none of the injector wires has half pushed out the back of the plug ?
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

that is completely normal for vn series 1 looms that used bosch plugs. later models switched to AMP brand and then delphi in the ecotec engines. All were good except dodgy bosch ones lol. So bad in fact you'll be luck to find a vn s1 injector plug with the contacts not bent open and push all the way in.Holden202T wrote:check that none of the injector wires has half pushed out the back of the plug ?
