Had a bit of a read there, the one I got in kit is a GSB222. That 'T' suffix will that mean it has a bigger hole I'm getting a bit confused.

this is the one I have. it would go on with a hammer but it shouldn't be that tight hey? needs to slide..

You were right  there was small bit of rock hard stuff stuck to the front shaft  gee it's a sung fit compared to the original one. I did not want to hit it with a hammer. Back to work now thanks heaps

I measured the pivot ball and it is correct distance from front of bellhousing 105mm I heard is about right?

"fill the cavity in the bearing" where abouts? the shaft bit it sits on.

Greased thrust bearing and ball pivot also have flywheel and clutch and plate all on and aligned ready to attach the gearbox today  thought I'd better give the gearbox an oil change, lucky I did it only had about 500ml of oil in it  from reading around it seems to take around 2.6 liters of oil to refill the gearbox. Is 2.6 liters the right amount?
