I wrote a self learning AFM to MAF function for the older Motronics, just thought it might give you some good ideas...
In "learn" mode a MAF is placed in-line with the AFM and hooked up to a spare analog input, then a 256x1 table is built relating the MAF voltage to the corrisponding AFM voltage as you drive around.
Then in "MAF" mode the AFM (now MAF) voltage is read, then translated by the MAF table before the AFM transfer function is called to determine air qty for the load calculation.
