Guess I could change the baud in the application to be default at 38400. Not sure if planethax would be very happy if I edited his work.

Its old tech anyways.

I reckon go for it an post it back to this thread in a zip with a readme or changelog mentioning your hack. Its not like you'd be stealing attribution for his work, just improving it.

Just tested it ,works fine ,gets seed and key ,osid no problem ,seems to crash if you hit "get vin", but that doesn't matter.
Tried a brand new elm327 from china , wouldnt work straight out of packet on default settings
Only commands I sent to get it working were
atsp2
atl1

Haha.. I probably mucked something up then if it decided to crash the "get vin".

May try again tomorrow and see if I cant fix that.

Ill try on the ecu here, see if I cant get it going straight out of packet. If need be, will see if I cant even add in the ATSP2 and ATL1 commands. Even a quick addon program that sends those two frames then starts up the main application will do.

I double checked my changes. Nothing else was modified apart from the baud. Should be no reason it fails, unless it always use to fail on VIN request? (Never used planethax's bruteforcer)

If interests there, Ill make something to automatically inject the required setup frames, and then autolaunch planethaxs software. Could even launch direct from memory so everything is in one application.

Great info guy's thanks. I use a non ELM interface and used this info to write a little script to find the seed key. It's running now. Will see how many hours it takes :-)

Does not look right with all the errors. We have a new tool under development now for earlier pcms but e67 would be later.
