Re: Ford MPC565 Tuning
that is freaking awesome
Re: Ford MPC565 Tuning
Pretty sure it has the hardware for individual cam control, but the ECU is not capable and is lacking support.Tazzi wrote:*sigh*.. BA..DarrylC wrote:Which one BA/BF/FG? It's in the BF/FG not the BA.Tazzi wrote:Thats mint!! Would love to hear what the XR8 would sound like with that done

Another update.
We have released an early alpha version of the software to 4 people who are testing it. Lots of things we are working through but the feedback has really helped so far.
Once we progress through the issues and get more features in we will recruit more testers. Mainly interested in people who have workshops or tune multiple BA/BF/FG cars per week.

Re: Ford MPC565 Tuning
Can we see some more screen shots?
Also does it have the ability to turn on/off fault codes?

Re: Ford MPC565 Tuning
Screenshots are just the same as before, most of the changes are under the hood. Mainly bug fixes and smoothing out how the ui works.
mill code reset, pid and dmr logging are all on the way but not yet implemented.
Working on getting flashing integrated atm. Will post an update when that is working.

Re: Ford MPC565 Tuning
Updated the axis view to show all related tables. This is very interesting for all the new tables/axis we have found to help discover what they do.
We have found 94 new 2D tables, 250 Tables 1D, 70 Axis and ~6000 Scalars. As you can see a lot of these will be very easy to define as they are obviously load vs rpm tables.

Re: Ford MPC565 Tuning
Another interesting one is the load and rpm axis for the MBT spark table. People regularly rescale these tables due to running more boost but it turns out they are used by 3 other unknown tables that utilise these axis. So by messing with axis you could be potentially breaking something unknown in the ECU if you use the existing software. In this case the 3 unknown tables are all zero so it is safe to rescale, however there may be others which are not.
I will be implementing an auto re-interpolate function soon. So if you do change an axis it will re-interpolate any existing tables that use that axis so the resultant Z value is unchanged. If your new choice of axis means the values can't be maintained it will warn you.
