the scope is here ... just search logic analser - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/201557127906
I was wrong about the 18x 1x trigger. It's a 24x crank trigger and coil on plug. It's the 1999-2002 Oldsmobile Aurora 3.5l Shortstar engine. It uses a Delco PCM. I haven't found a wiring diagram for one yet.
I've been looking online for one in a wrecking yard but no luck yet.
As far as I know it's the only V6 GM made with a 24x crank trigger.

Autozone has diagrams on there website for this PCM.
If you are in the US, there is a 2001 Aurora in a salvage yard about 50 miles away from me.
I may be able to get PCM etc.

Thanks for the offer but I was just looking local. Besides I've already spent my "PLAY" money for the month. LOL
I would love to have one to play with but I don't even know what it would take to read it.
I use PCMHammer for my Jeep I just put a P59 in. I did buy HPT to tune my Hemi powered JKUR. But I don't like the price of their credits.
I know it's a Delco so I'm not sure if my HPT would even read it, it might.

Thorwon;

IF the car is still there next time they have a "Bucket Day Sale" I will see if I can get the PCM and main wiring harness (plus the TB for myself, lol)

MudDuck514; that sounds great. Let me know.
I wish my local pull a part had bucket days. They don't even post prices. When you get to the desk they add it up and let you know how much it is. They are very reasonable with their prices but it'd be nice to know what things cost before you go on the lot.

I found this for the Oldsmobile Aurora 3.5l Shortstar LX5 engine, but i'm not sure its relevant to the P01.

It's probably not relevant to the P01, it's a Delco PCM.
Here's what I've found on the 3.5l Shortstar. There's some wire diagrams and a PCM pinout I got from a post on Gearhead EFI.
I haven't looked through them yet to verify the info.
I guess we got a little side tracked.

@Holden202T Ive been thinking about this and looking at diagrams, The only thing I can think other than the little things that you should have covered already is that the crank polarity might be backwards. If this was the case the cam phase shift might be one crank period out of whack based on what the PCM is seeing which might be beyond the margin of timing error and could be stopping it syncing up.

I found this to be a bit of mystery when testing my functioning 0411 bench loom with EFILive. It was a factory GM loom and I am quit sure I made no mistakes in numbering the injectors.
Bin was a standard DSKW 300KWM6.BIN

So EFILive tells you what injector is on which pin?
