Do you happen to know the Service Number for this unit ??

These are both believed to be unmodified factory burns ??

Thank you

I finally figured out how to log in here!

I just got an OBDlink MX+ and I tried to used lsdroid and PCMhammer without success. LSdroid did a full read and it looked good, everything looks good going to flash but at the last moment it says "flash cancelled".

PCMHammer finds the BT serial port and when you hit test on the right port you get an error

Systm.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: The maximum baud rate for the device is 115200
Paramater name: baudRate
at System.IO.Ports.Serialstream..ctor

etc. I searched this forum for 115200 with no reference. I'm pretty sad, the MX+ is giving a lot of trouble, and the extra features are lame so far. I was getting way more data from our other car with a $2 arduino and a $3 CAN board.

Hello,

LS Droid with an MX+ works very well for me on a bench harness and a 13.8 volt, three amp power supply. Reading a PCM takes less power than writing to a PCM so my initial suspicion would be insufficient electrical power to perform the flash.

Thanks for the advice. It turns out I didn't write out the OS_FLASH_OPERATION or whatever it was before hitting send. I used a noisy DC boost converter to get 13.5 and bricked the box a few times. Took out the boost converter and flashed with no problem on 12.3V. So I have a 7603 now! Now I just have to figure out the checksum and I can get to tuning : )
