PCM Hammer - new ls1 flash tool

They go by many names, P01, P59, VPW, '0411 etc . Circa 1999 to 2006. All VPW OBD2 PCMs.

To add, "Mini VCI J2534 Standard OBDII Interface Device" is what the sticker on the "tool" says. Pcm Hammer connects to the device, seeing it as a J2534 Mongoose Pro in the Select Device window.

New user alert.
So, just wondering if there is a list of PCMhammer OBD interfaces that are known to work at 4x mode.
The reason for this is that I've been recently informed by Alex from OBDDIAG that the USB dev-adapters are no longer purchasable.

The DEV boards are now de-listed on the site. Bummer, that was the last part I needed to get the BIN from my 06 Express VAN 3500 LQ4-4L80.
Thanks for any advice at this point in my quest to get at my BIN.

Developers, I'm wondering if the previously mentioned issue with my particular j2534 device may just be a DLL concern. I.e. missing DLL for my device, since it's not a "popular" pass-thru. I can provide the DLL if need be. It's late here and I'm close to bed, but if you'd be so kind as to enlighten me if I'm off base with this train of thought. Thanks,

Bill

After further review, I think its a driver issue on my part with the Mini VCI interface. Stay tuned, I'm working through it now, I will post results as the come to light.

Hi all,

Just checked the AllPro website .
NOW the LAST device, The AllPro Adapter Development Board, has been listed as N\A.

Antus, can you get in touch with the developer and see if he plans to resume production anytime soon!

For what it's worth, he said that he sold all of them, and the minimum order for more was 500 units, and he wasn't going to spring the cash to sit on what he said was only a handful a month selling.
Too bad really, would have liked to have one of these units instead of the SX or HX adapters.

Hopefully he will find some way to get another batch done. Or at least let us get in contact with his PCB MFGR resource.
I can't imagine that 500 units is the only production quantity that could qualify for a price conscious rate.

Hi all.

Antus, I too hope that he can get more made.
Like you say, perhaps he can get a smaller quantity made.
Let us know if he agrees to let "us" contact his supplier - or lets "us" have the CAD drawings so we can choose our own vendor.

If someone wants to tackle the production challenges, it looks like he's published everything you need, other than supplier contacts and contracts...

Please don't PM me with questions about tuning or flashing - start a thread instead. Thanks!

^ This.
Also keep in mind the obdlink sx is commonly available and not crazy expensive. Or the allscanner vcx nano J2534 interface tends to be pretty cheap and is reasonably fast but there are a lot of clones around which may or may not work.
Have you read the FAQ? For lots of information and links to significant threads see here: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1396

Hi all.

Since the core processor of the ALLPro is the same one (or very similar to) to one in the Arduino DUE, has anybody tried loading the firmware on the DUE?
I realize it will need the J1850VPW interface circuit, but that should be fairly simple.
