Re: WARNING HP Tuners MPV1 DEAD
If it only happens with old software versions(which it does) it’s the customers problem for not updating firmware & software!

#HPTUNERS sucks
I know how to successfully revert it back if your stuck.
(for anyone that is signing up to contact me about this, please don't bother I offered this to an active member, I only do it for genuine reasons, and believe me it would need to be good) this is because I believe most people they ask are using dodgie pirated software, that makes it hard for guys that do it the honest way, that have paid licences / unlimited. and if your not an active inputting member to the forum its not happening at all. sorry.

Any tips on preventing it from updating?
Several people are reporting that they auto update, is it as simple as turning off internet when using??

Yeah don't use them on the internet & anything after version around 4.1
Re: WARNING HP Tuners MPV1 DEAD
I thought 4.0 was the breaking point, you want to remain 3.x.

Re: WARNING HP Tuners MPV1 DEAD
Does anyone have a 2000 camaro LS1 Auto stock tune file that will work on my HP tuners 3.x? The tune files in their repository are all useless because they won't open on 3.x and I'm sure as hell not updating to 4.0
My current OS is a 156 from the 2002, and I need the 2000 stock file to compare something.

install v4 seperating or on another pc to get the file to open ? no need to plug the interface in just to view the file
