LS1 Conversion in to a 2nd Gen Commodore TACH ISSUES!

Post by CYCO-VS »

Hi Guys,

not sure if this is in the correct thread?

i have a question i have done a ls1 conversion in to a vp calais car was a ex 5ltr

Now my tachometer is reading incorrect compared to my odb2 via my phone i do know there is a value that needs to be changed in the tune when your using hptuners or efilive ect .
but is there any other way this can be fixed like doing modifications to the tacho cluster it self ?

You need to convert the tach to 4 cylinder as ls1 outputs the same amount of pulses as a 4 cylinder you will be reading half the rpm
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem
