Hi all,
Now if only someone with more smarts than ME can create a sketch for an Arduino UNO to give the 1x CMP and 3x CKP signals! (or 4x for those with the V8 version)
Mike

I can write code, I'm short on design skills ... I suspect partially due to my poor understanding of math, and obviously this stuff is very math intensive.
Ardu-Stim does: GM_FOUR_TOOTH_WITH_CAM, /* GM 4 even crank with half moon cam */
Unfortunately I have been unable to crack the design code for wheel definitions ... It's above me at this point in time. (I've only studied it once so far, gotta let it simmer)
Here is the wheel definitions if anyone could help with this, any additions would require a removal, RAM real estate is in short supply. I can do the work, if someone could help with the math.

So I finally fingered out how to use my Christmas gift from all the little ones, thought I would post the results ...
ArduStim GM_LS1_CRANK_AND_CAM crankshaft sensor signal ... Looks right to me. The Oscilloscope is the one mentioned in post 2.

Thanks,
I realized after I posted that, it does have two channels and two probes I could of included the CMP sensor ... O-wells, live and learn.
(Haven't even opened the second probe yet)
Hope it works out, extremely paranoid purchasing anything these days with engineered lifespans and all, I like to buy tools once and take care of them.

Hi all,
Gampy, From what I have seen on other websites and YouTube, Siglent seems to be one of the better brands, therefore if taken care of it SHOULD provide years of service.
Not quite in the same class as Tektronix, but then it doesn't COST nearly as much either.
Mike

Thanks MudDuck514, I do hope it does last and/or I don't fry it!
