kur4o, did you try using it ...

I get locking it to protect the IP, I don't like it, but I get it, that's an unfortunate reality of this world ... The problem is the average joe needs a password just to use it.

Finally started documentation.
English is not my natural language so there is not much extra text and maybe lot of typos...
All feedback is welcome.

What funcionality would you like to see next?

Hello,

How to fix checksums documentation would be good and seems to be what people often need.

I do have a future request, not terribly important but maybe something to put on the todo list..

In the drop down menu setting can you have an option for disabling the automatic checking and correcting of the CVN and checksums when saving a file.. I was working on some code to brute force the desired CVN to mimic stock calibrations and whenever I changed something I wanted to save it keeping the original CVN and was unable to..

I did download your source and managed to modify it to do it but I am sure if you wrote the code it would look a lot cleaner, plus it would be there with every revision.. Sorry I have tried and not quite figured out github enough to pull or push or do whatever I need to do with that, lol..

Other than that, it's working great, thank you for creating and keeping with it!!

Thanks Tre-Cool,

Yes, VTD stands for Vehicle Theft Deterrent ...

The Two VTD parameters are
VTD_Configuration . . . . . . : This is used to activate the different VTD functionalities within the PCM.
VTD_Fail_Enabled_Bypass : Enables or disables the theft Fail-Enabled mode. Thiscapability is required for export vehicles.
It's the Fail_Enable_Bypass (Fail-Enabled mode) that I don't understand clearly, the wording is confusing to me.

VTD_Configuration is for enabling or disabling VTD (VATS).

Sorry, haven't done any E38 disassembles ... yet!
