They go by many names, P01, P59, VPW, '0411 etc. Also covering E38 and newer here.

Top of the log is cut off...
What Tool ??
[edit] I now see AllPro deeper in the log ... Turn off 4x Communication, are you bench flashing or in vehicle flashing ??

Please try a 'Test Write' after disabling 4x communication on the Options menu.

[edit]
Tip: One should always try a 'Test Write' first ...

I have some work in progress that will speed up reads and writes with the AllPro and ObdLink devices.

Good news: AllPro is way faster now - calibration writes went from 4:08 to 1:33, and 512 read went from 15 minutes to under 5.

Bad news: Reads and writes with an ObdLink LX are just broken. But I'm working on it...
Please don't PM me with technical questions - start a thread instead, and send me a link to it. That way I can answer in public, and help other people who have the same question. Thanks!

My curiosity is, have you got the AllPro working 4x on the bench ??

my allpro did work several times on 4x. Occasionally, I would need power cycle the pcm for it to connect.

I just had time to read the entire thread... where my question was answered... several times. sorry about that.

Request: I do miss the reassurance of the "Flash Successful!" message at the end.

Hiya, good feedback is in order. I posted when I got PCM Hammer 12 working on my Win7 machine and used my ObdLink SX and my AVT852 successfully. Sooooo I finally tried out my OBDX Pro VT since my VXDIAG j2534 interface showed up and I had some new toys to play with and get working. Great job ALL you guys for making the Hammer work on all these devices  The OBDX Pro VT was actually the fastest. I actually ran the AVT852 twice just to verify. Now I'm off to the Bosch E38 section to report in

Nice work! Make sure your nano is on the latest firmware as well. I noticed a nice speed bump when I did that.

Gampy's pcmhammer edit for my autel j2534 has cloned my pcm successfully. My escalade is driving with a pcm from a wrecked avalanche. Super awesome.

In-Tech,

Which VXDIAG j2534 did you get ??

I'm confused why there is different vehicle mfg ones, is the device specific to a vehicle mfg, or is that for the software that comes with it ??
