They go by many names, P01, P59, VPW, '0411 etc. Also covering E38 and newer here.

that looks like an issue with the pcm or the car. the pcm is not accepting the kernel upload. if its in a car, try doing the flash on the bench. if its on the bench then you'll probably need to force the hardware in to recovery mode either write parameters or do a full write (clone) sending in a full bin you read before the problem started happening.

"PCM is already unlocked". Well... it shouldn't be unlocked already so is it in recovery mode???

Must be something from the write with ls droid that makes it think its in recovery mode? I can try a clone, I just assumed that would get caught up on the same step.

I'll assume "the app" is LS Droid, and did it crash during a write ??

If it did and you have a spare PCM, switch to it and use PCM Hammer!
Then get a replacement for your spare ...

BTW, the device (LX) you are using is a 1x device, disabling 4x does nothing.

No it crashed consistently at the time where you go to select "write calibration". The write before my phone updated was perfect and the ecu runs the engine fine.

Your getting properties (VIN, Serial Number, etc...) ... that's good.

It's saying it's already unlocked ... That's bad.

In my experience that typically means REBOOT!

My recommended boot procedure ...
Turn Ignition Off.
Disconnect battery power to PCM. (completely disconnect PCM)
Unplug Tool from PC. (or disconnect wireless)
Unplug Tool from DLC. (OBDII) (PCM)
Reboot PC ... While letting PCM set for a minute or two ...

Hookup ...

PC powered up and ready.
PCM hooked to battery, Ignition OFF.
Wait 10s
Plug Tool into DLC. (OBDII) (PCM)
Plug Tool into PC. (or connect wireless)
Wait 10s. (unless installing drivers, allow them to finish)

Start Pcm Hammer.
Turn on Ignition.

Well, I found an old phone and was able to write my needed changes using lsdroid again. Something isn't playing nice!

Please try reading that PCM with PCM Hammer now and post logs if not successful.

Does it show the Seed/Key in LSDroid?

Hey guys, sorry for the delayed response.
I attached "Debug2" which is a pcm hammer log from attempting to read the PCM again.
