PCM Hammer Release 014

They go by many names, P01, P59, VPW, '0411 etc. Also covering E38 and newer here.

Add the checksum is not a good solution, most interfaces validate and hide that byte, but even 1 like the AVT is a problem. #1 is an option.

Valid point ... That is not the reason I had #1 as #1, but I did have #1 as #1 for a reason ... :)
