P59 OS Flash
Hi All, I have an Intel P59 with OS # 12593058, is it possible to flash OS # 12587603 from a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 4.8 Manual to my PCM?

Yes. The operating systems that came on PCMs with AMD chips still contain the Intel code and run on the older hardware. However the opposite is not true. Intel OS on AMD hardware will not brick, and is recoverable, but some functionality wont work properly.

Thanks for your reply, that's great news. I have HP tuners, can I just flash the new OS with that?

I would recommend PCM Hammer as its our free tool, but HPTuners should be able to do it. I cant confirm what changing what will cost you in credits - you'd need to ask them.
