Fuel Gauge

Post by yoheer »

Fuel gauge shows inverted info after OS change to 12587603
When the tank is empty it shows full and vice versa.
Ideas?

Likely the fuel guage calibration table needs to be updated with the data from the old OS.

Don't plug it in yet!

I'm not sure that is the right information now that I'm looking deeper ... It appears there is more then one set of values.

I just did the same procedure on OsID 12587603 and compared that to TunerPro using 12587603.xdf and got different results, it should be the same.
Maybe my procedure is flawed!

Maybe a REAL tuner will step in here and save my behind!

Ok, pretty sure I got it.

In TunerPro under tables, find 'Primary Fuel Level Vs Fuel Gauge Sender A/D Counts', inverting that table should be the ticket.
The actual numbers appear to be the same on both Os'es just inverted of each other.

I take it personally if I do not accomplish that goal.

One more question. This table is only in advanced xdf file.
The columns are called Counts vs gal
Counts 0-256
Gal becomes zero at 128. Do i need to invert Gal values from 0 to 128 or i need to invert it to 256?
