Fuel Gauge

They go by many names, P01, P59, VPW, '0411 etc. Also covering E38 and newer here.

Try this please ...
2004 Escalade 5.3AutoStock_824-1.bin
(1 MiB) Downloaded 145 times
You only need to write the calibration segment.

I started with your
2004 Escalade 5.3AutoStock.bin
posted above, then swapped in the Fuel Segment from
HDW 12583660 - SERV 12586242 - OS 12587603 - 2004TahoeDBW5.3FlexFuel.bin
then copied the tables over from your
STOCK_2003 Tahoe 12579405.bin
posted in the VATS delete thread.

Please let us know ...

Thank you!

I used Universal Patcher to swap the segment and a private tool to copy the tables ...
However, I suspect Universal Patcher would also do the table copy, I just have not tried to figure out how to do so, YET!

There is no tutorial for it's use ... Just open a bin (a copy of one) and explore it, figure it out and/or ask questions.

There is several methods for table copy, one is documented in:
https://universalpatcher.net/copy-table ... -bin-file/

Another method:
- Open tuner
- Open file with tables you want to copy (source)
- Switch to list mode
- Select all tables you want to copy
- Right click one table and select "Copy selected tables to..."
- Select destination file
- Apply
- Save As...

I agree, the more I explore the more I find ...

Asked in his thread if this works between differing OS's, the answer was yes!

How cool.

So. the last bin made some corrections.
When there is about 3gal in the tank, the gage shows half :)))))
Empty tank (engine stalled) shows 1/4.
I think I'm gonna get back to 9405 OS and try to make changes with Universal pather.
