Fuel Gauge

They go by many names, P01, P59, VPW, '0411 etc. Also covering E38 and newer here.

It appears we are using different xdf's.
Pretty sure mine is based on the one over at Bored Truck Owners repository on GetHub, it is the only one I know of, there is no Advanced xdf.
I will check mine against it to be sure.

There are 129 total rows, all of them need to be flipped.

Just noticing the numbers are not exactly the same across the spread between the two, close though, they are definitely inverted.

My tools are having hex/decimal/imperial/metric conversion problems ... at math, I suck at best.

I think the Board Truck Owner repo is dead. The owner has gone and he doesnt appear to be accepting pull requests. The content might have been mirrored in to the snowman repo, so that is the one to look in. https://github.com/Snoman002/Engine-Tun ... e-TunerCat
See viewtopic.php?f=42&t=6537&start=90#p103266 There is also a clone of the other repo too. Im struggling to navigate it, lots of structure, not as much content. Might need some work yet. Hmmm.
Have you read the FAQ? For lots of information and links to significant threads see here: http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1396

Yea, two there, I'm going to have to do some comparing to figure out what one I have for sure ... Gonna take me a bit O time.
I need to know anyways ...

I do know it was the one from the PcmHacks repo.

I think it's 12587603_release.xdf from the Snowman repo.

Ok, I am using this xdf: 12587603_RC1.xdf

And I have finally correctly extracted the exact data from your STOCK_2003 Tahoe 12579405.bin posted here.
I can now repeat my steps on known data and it comes out correctly, so I am very confident it's 100% correct.

Sorry I have been so confusing, it has been a curve of education on my part ...

I use 2 xdfs
One is the same as you posted.
Second is 12587633_release.xdf from Snowman's repo. wich is full of comments and locked for editing with password
"Release" file has only one table Fuel gauge calibration

Concerning RC1 there is that table you told above.
it has 256 values

PM'd it to you, didn't want to post it.

The error message is because it was saved as UTF-8, it must be RAW ASCII Text ... A modern editor issue.

12587603_release.xdf is produced by user LRT, I do not support locked works ... Locked works are self centered, and not in the Spirit of Community.

Yes, that table in RC1 is the correct table, there are only 129 rows ... Notice the Counts jump by two.

However, you are seeing them in decimal, I see them in hex, I posted them in hex, it looks like you need them in decimal.
Maybe I need to learn more about TunerPro's settings.

the file you got is probably from a van, it uses the same old school sender it always has that reads backward from 99 up gm vehicles, if you can find any other truck file with the same os and segment swap the system you will be good.

why did you os swap it to begin with ?? just wondering
