need help

They go by many names, P01, P59, VPW, '0411 etc. Also covering E38 and newer here.

There is a version 4 of that XDF attached in the link below:

Though I do have a slightly better version 6 here on my computer but I can't remember where I found it.

I'll leave the reason for the failed check sums to others.

Download Universal Patcher and use it to fix the checksums ...

To save files from the Github repositories, click on the file, if it opens as Text, select "RAW", then use your browser's "File Save As" to save the file.
If it's a binary (locked xdf), it will give you a download button after you click on it.

File, Save As (or File, Save Page As) this 12212156 - 2002 512k V1.xdf - from Bored Truck Owners Repo.
Open Tuner Pro, select the above saved xdf, select a fresh copy of your undamaged bin, disable VATS, save the bin, then write the bin to PCM preferably with PCM Hammer!

Sorry mate if I was unclear but the problem is that when I do anything to ever my stock bin or one I downloaded (using the right xdf files) when I save it I get the check sums error and I don’t want to map it back to the ecu like that and I don’t understand what the error is or how to fix it
