To be clear the 12212156 OS does not run on the v6 P04 PCM. You have a v8 PCM, on a v6 car, thats different - its still a v8 pcm.

I assumed this thread became the v6 rwd to V8 rwd conversion. I initially was wondering if v6 fwd pcms were able to be converted, but when gampy said the OS matches on rwd, just the cal is different, I realized the 4.3l could be converted to v8 and started a fwd thread. Sorry for the confusion. Also discovered can't read v6 fwd so kind of impossible right now to even try.

I believe lsdroid can do it with a bluetooth obdlink or an xpro, and there are tuning tools for the v6 (tiny tuner) but in general its an older pcm design and with fewer tuning tools.

Thanks Antus. I'll see if that can work.
