RTLS1 with LS1 Boost OS

Post by kojab »

Some good news. I have been working with Bubba to get the RTLS1 to be able to access bin locations outside of normal GM boundaries. Thank you Bubba.
The RTLS1 now runs Bubba's 12587603 LS1 Boost OS perfectly with currently a 15-375 kPa VE Table. I know he has a VE table larger which the RTLS1 can accommodate but 375
kPa for my car will be more than enough.

Last December I sent Bubba one of our P59 RTLS1 daughter boards and I am looking forward to getting his feed back.

Recently I have been trying to improve logging frame rates of the RTLS1 as my son said this was always possible. As of today I managed to get the RTLS1 to log at 150 fps with the P59 PCM.

Thank you again Bubba for making your LS1 Boost OS compatible with the RTLS1.

What is the difference between the RTLS1 and the Moates Roadrunner?

One of the outstanding features of the RTLS1 is to know the exact time the knock sensor is triggered due to the fast logging rate.
This takes away the guess work to know how to shape Spark timing table or fuel in the VE table.

Logging knock at 100 fps displays a vertical leading edge which is the start of knock control.
With slower logging rates you will not see this vertical leading edge as clearly.

RTLS1 only available for P01 and P59 LS1 PCM's. What model is your Tahoe?
