12221588 lean cruise

Post by christian.muner »

Good morning to all
I landed here looking a way to enable lean cruise (and maybe some other nice feature if any) and keep the Cruise control
Gas in Italy is nearly $ 7,5 per gallon...
I own a 1980 Trans Am i personally rebulit over the last 15 years in garage
power train is a 1995 LT1 / 4L60E, 383, with Eficonnection 24x conversion I bought in 2008! one of the earliest buyer from Mike
I run it with DBW throttle, 2002 Corvette LS1 ECM and 12221588 OS.
I have MPVI3 HPTuner
(my old MPVI gone nuts sadly, not working with WB), I use HPT since 2006
Switching to V pltaform lean cruise works but I lost cruise control
so, how I can enable it?
I try to download this file, use with tuner cat, but there is no way I can upload the checksum correctly
there is something in the middle of the process I get lost.
can you help me out please?
thank you so much for your time!
I read a bit before doing the new post.
to read a bin file I must buy a new tool: OBDLink LX OBD2 Bluetooth Scanner for Android and Windows
Or I can use the XDF file I found on this forum and star over with copy and paste compare function
but I am not able to complete checksum
what I am missing?
thank you for suppport
I am more a wire guy than a software guy

To enable lean cruise you will need some new tools, and a trash bin for your commercial crap.

1.you need pcmhammer or lsdroid for reading / writing to pcm
2.you need Universal Patcher for adding lean cruise patch and for general tuning.

3.you need a device that will work for reading /writing to pcm

-Obdlink device
-mdi
-obdxpro
-avt-852
-random j-2534 device that support 4k vpw buffer will also work.
