The universal patcher logger is probably your best bet, followed by pcmlogger second.
I got the logger UP to work, and was able to get a start of a histogram going, but the RPM signal keeps dropping out and it lags a bit. PCML works well, but I can't do anything the data. Someone on here mentioned Megalog viewer. Gonna loo into that as an option.

PCMLogger just outputs a CSV formatted file, any log viewer that imports CSV should work, MegaLog Viewer from EFI Analytics is known to be one.

Remember PCMLogger is beta and has some hickups, please report any issues, even if you thinks it's been reported.

Thank you!

I have "thick skin" so no problem!
IF someone added other things to the ORIGINAL .adx made by Mark (TP developer) it MAY work.
That being said, the other logging apps appear to be better.
Heck you MIGHT even be able to log with Torque Pro better than TP!
The ELM327 was made specifically for ALL OBDII protocols, though most cheap clones seem to lack J1850 support.
ALSO ANY "ELM" device using v 1.5 is FAKE and was created using v1.1.
I have a BAFX unit that is v 1.4, so most likely a legit licensed product. (I also have an OBDXPro VY v2)

Universal Patcher does lag behind some but it’s nice seeing the cells hit. I’ve never had a issue with RPM though. Also the log file saved from Universal Patcher is a csv file as well so it can be opened in megalogviewer as well.

Megalog viewer is a pay thing, right? I haven't had a chance to look into it yet.

Also, would you be able to screenshot me a pic of your VE & MAF histogram setups in UP? I think I have mine right but I'm not certain.

Thank you!

MegalogviewerHD is $50 to unlock all histogram creating capabilities.

Here’s an example of logging VE error with long term fuel trims

In Universal Patcher open the loggers and add the PIDs Needed for VE which is MAP, Engine Speed and LTFT Average.

Since the Long Term Average PID doesn’t work you have to create your own math PID. Once you add MAP and Engine Speed you can right click the line below it in your added section and click edit(I didn’t get a pic of this step). Then a window will pop up and fill it out like this.

Then once it’s added start logging and click on the show histogram tab

Click on table selection

Open your bin file

Then find and click on the VE table

brandongarnold02,

Thank you for correcting me, I looked and saw nothing that said it was pay, I have it, I used it long enough to test while fixing a PCM Logger output incompatibility therefore never used any fancy features!

Hey man, thanks for that! I'll admit that UP's GUI is...definitely not as 'friendly' as some other programs, so I was having some issues trying to figure it out. This helps a bunch :).
