VY Mafless tune

Postby Jake_dare » Tue Jun 13, 2017 7:41 pm

Hi guys, I've got a VY v6 with a cam, exhaust and a few other small things and I was curious as to whether or not a mafless tune would be worth doing or if it is possible for that matter. I don't have much experience (I've only really played around with data logging and modifying the current tune usuing tuner pro but the airflow tables confused me  ). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Other than possibly making it easier to understand if you are used to tuning a MAP system, will see little to no gain - in fact would likely go backwards until some dyno time was spent.

There is no free mafless option, kalmaker do have a product that costs $.

If you have not already checked it out, the enhanced bins offer more airlfow and MAF options than a modifed NA V6 will need. Still wont get away from the airflow tables, but in time they do make sense. viewtopic.php?f=27&t=2518

I guess I'll just have to keep playing around with what I have then. Hardly worth spending any money if I can achieve the same thing with just a bit more time invested.

Thanks heaps for your quick reply!

Which airflow tables are confusing you?
