Re: VY PCM - 16269238
LOL, Yes that 2nd flash problem sounds very familiar, it got there after 800 odd retrys & I think roughly 45 mins on 2nd flash!
So the check sum plug-in to ommit those values 4000 to 4007 where would this be? I just looked on tuner pro & tried a search here for check plug, but didn't find anything obvious?

Its a new feature that will be or has been added. In the latest version the checksum screen does mention that its using the standard TP checksum plugin so assume later on we will be able to write a CS plugin.

Re: VY PCM - 16269238
OK,
I'm sure I mentioned something like this in another topic but just realized what I have been working off in the XDF is all wrong it looks like the mask's start at $56F1 in all VX-VY cal's & all the XDF's I'm looking at either don't have them or have them at $56D2 which I think is completely wrong!
Can anyone confirm & all the other XDF's have a flag for disable vats at $4014 which again I believe is completely wrong?
Cheers VX L67 Getrag

Re: VY PCM - 16269238
No I don't think so I def don't have o6b xdf,
But looking at the breakdown $060C changes around 57AE & $060B somewhere around 5F1B when comparing to $060A

The factory Petrol/LPG on a VT uses a different bin, it has a cal for both petrol and gas.
does anybody know if the VX also has a different bin. If so does any one have it to post?

Re: VY PCM - 16269238
VX/VY LPG bins are more complicated than VT.
VT enabled external LPG computer, switched off injectors, used different spark table and had valve seat recession software where some petrol is added under certain conditions.
For VX/VY the LPG FCV (fuel control valve) is controlled by the PCM and not an external lpg computer. This allows PE, Lean Cruise, etc to be used when on gas along with all the features in the VT bins.
NOTE: VX/VY can not use the newer lean bias fumigation type system, only the older rich bias, as the FCV solenoid signals are inverted for rich lean adjustment.
I don't have a VX LPG bin.

No, all turned out too hard for somebody of my electrical ability.
The ECU expects to see the load and monitors that, also would need to have it activated only when the LPG convertor is powered on or it would keep the solenoid open when running on petrol which would end up creating havoc on changeovers.
While all doable, no time to tinker, and all running OK at the moment.
Was quite an advanced system for 10 years ago, but with vapour injection available today (and now liquid) it is a little antiquated.
