Re: no hardware found
Have you contacted the (ebay?) seller for support?
You wont be able to emulate/tune without an NVRAM installed.

Re: no hardware found
Yes, it is very complicated. Try haveing a read of the guides and the faq here https://pcmhacking.net/forums/view ... f=7&t=1396 (also linked to under FAQ at the top of the forums).

Re: no hardware found
As you dont have an NVRAM you cannot initialise hardware, you cannot emulate (its for tuning only) and wont require the plugin.
With one of these you can tune though .. https://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=166

Re: no hardware found
yeah i think this is a bit technical for me, so with out nvram the data list, dash and charts is the max info i can retrive??
there also was efilive v4 and flashtool on cd but was trying to work this out first,
ill assume these are used for clearing fault codes ??

Re: no hardware found
You can log data in TunerPro/EFILive and clear fault codes on a VS with a data interface, but cant tune a VS with just a data interface.

Re: no hardware found
I too am having issues linking Tunerpro RT to a VS commodore.
My old man bought me an ebay ALDL cable - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/USB-ALDL-Dia ... 2ec0b6b712
It came with EFILive V4 Eval version, (which I haven't got to work properly yet)
I can get chatter happening, but no live dash values, not even in the sensor item list.
The car is a stock standard series two VS Commodore V8 Ute
In tunerpro, I'm running the adx file - 16176424.adx
(which I found in delcowizzid's adx thread)
I worked out how to create a virtual dashboard, and some monitoring graphs etc.
(I'm still learning on the history tables section)
Tunerpro finds the cable, and verifies that everything is ok.
When I try to connect to the vehicle, the gauges just bounce. I can see the proper values displayed for split seconds, when the bounces occur, but nothing more.
No proper live values display in the item lists either.
Is it me, the cable, or the car?

Re: no hardware found
You probably should start your own thread instead of posting a new question to the middle of boosted falcons, but short answer is you should get the one of the two latest VS adx files from https://pcmhacking.net/forums/view ... ?f=10&t=29 . The two types are for different wideband types, but as you are not using wideband, either should work.
