Have you set the reference angle to suit V6?

unlikely to be the issue at this piont as the engine runs with fuel down its throat. reference angle mainly affects spark timing. it does affect when injectors fire but as I said earlier, firing injectors at the wrong time isnt going to stop it running.

have you checked are the inejctors firing at all?

I remember reading somewhere this doesnt actually change the order the injectors fire in... that is hard coded. all it changes is which injectors it percieves as left bank and right bank for the fuel trims. you have to figure out the hard coded order it fires in and connect those outputs to your injectors in the correct order. this wont help it start however, as I said the injector firing order will not prevent it from starting.... VN's fire all injectors at the same time, all cylinders are at differnet points of their strokes and it doesnt affect it.

are you sure you set the low res crank trigger correctly? is the row you set the tick box also the row that is selected in the drop down? maybe tick the whole column of low res crank trigger to be sure?

The Ls1 Ecu's fires injectors sequentially and its a VS Ecotec engine..

As for setting low res crank trigger..thats got me a bit lost

Yes they do fire sequentially, but what Jayme is saying is dont get hung up on the small backfires and injector order. Engines run fine with all the injectors firing as a batch without backfiring. Its just that they can run a little better with sequentially fired injectors.

Can you see RPM while cranking or with a bit of fuel down its throat when logging the PCM?
Does the PCM register a cam signal?
Do all the sensor values look correct?
Ref angle set to about 70deg?
Whats the bypass wire of the ign module doing?
What have you done with the 8 ign driver outputs and single EST input of the module?

The rpm seems correct while its sort of running / trying to start
Not sure how to check if the pcm is getting cam signal or not...But it is hooked up
All sensor values seem correct
No idea how to set ref angle in Hp Tuners
The bypass wire isnt hooked up as yet...no idea where to put that yet
The EST input wire isnt hooked up as yet...no idea where to put that yet

Well if EST & bypass arnt connected then the pcm isnt doing spark (the ignition module is -and you cant change its idea of a reference angle, nor can you tell it to provide any variable advance). and if you need to pour fuel down the intake to make it fire, it sounds like its not doing fuel either. Your going to need to solve EST and Bypass at minimum, and I think that might take some custom hardware or some quite advanced operating system hacking.

Until you sort out the EST input ground the bypass wire to ensure the module stays in control of spark.
