Re: vr 5 litr 2bar tune
auto or manual ?
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!
Just starting out? Have a read of the getting started guide

its an auto mate

I don't know of any 2Bar $11 code, you'll have to make do with loosing resolution in the standard $11 program.
Assuming you have put in a 2bar sensor, all the tables that reference MAP will now be screwy, but you can chnge that:
for example, F1 SAMAIN shows MAP as
20 30 40 50 60 70 80 90 100
Putting in a 2Bar sensor effectively makes these:
28 50 71 92 113 134 155 166 177 187 198
You can see now that there are 4-1/2 columns that cover vacuum, and 6-1/2 for the boosted area.
Now that the tables are labelled correctly, they need to have the values in them adjusted.
Maybe start by condensing the vacumme part of each table, and extrapolate to the boosted section.
This has to happen for MAP referenced tables.
Good luck

Re: vr 5 litr 2bar tune
Just condensing the VE tables wont be enough either, you are gonna need to fudge the injector rate otherwise at 2 bar it will be delivering the fuel that is usually delivered at 1 bar. if you have 42lb injectors it will probably be close without changing the injector rate as it is flowing double the fuel as usual. either way, id be tuning it with a wideband.
on a side note, once $12p is finished, VL400's next project will be $11P which means 2 bar auto realtime. so keep an eye on the custom code section in a few months

ok i think i get what you mean , i have acess to a dyno so i can use that with the wideband, i wasnt quite sure how to crossover from the vaccum table and change to a
boosted table and how to match up the voltage differences between the two sensors, im just gonna jump on the dyno and have a play see what i can work out.
