You can use the kal hardware. You just need to be able to write 12p to the nvram with an eprom burner like a gq-4x to get started (sounds like you can do this if you can swap between sp2 and sp3), and you need an FTDI based usb to serial adaptor like this one http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/USB-to-RS232 ... 0928749717

For more info read the guides in the FAQ (link up near top right of the screen).

Also I agree with VXL67... there isnt much changed. What is changed mainly appears to be the target AFR, rather than the VE tables. This is not ideal. Also the injector rate, and disabled 3 DTCs. You probably would be better off logging 12P's V6 bin on the car, and re-doing the work. Disable CEL for DTCs you dont want, set the injector rate to suit your injectors but tune VE and Spark instead of target AFR.

You could also use SP2s difference tool to save the details to disk which might be better than tunerpros for SP2. I assume it has one (I know sp3 does). The stuff off the bottom of the screenshot is mostly the AFR table changes.

Have you got a wide band? Any engine mods? Injector or fuel pressure mods?
