Flex output ?

Post by HQ355 »

Ok so my stupid question of the day is how do I get the flex out puts operating on an 808 ? I'm wanting to get my reverse lockout on my t-56 working and a shift light. Also what are other people using them for as i will still have 2 spare so anything that can give more hp or make driving easier or more enjoyable would be good, cheers

you use the flash tool to set up the axis of the flex table, then tunerpro to set the calibration of it.

see page 5 of the advanced tuning guide.

in my Gemini i have the flex table set to run a second fuel pump on boost only, and in the past i have used one to control an electric water pump (with VL400's kit to drive it) and in my brothers car we are using flex table to activate nitrous above 3000rpm and over 99% throttle, and we are currently changing the setup to have two nos kits so we can have multi stage activation which will be all done with flex tables!

I was wondering about this the other night. I have another blower which has a motorised bypass valve. I was wondering if i might be able to drive this with a flex output. It appears to be a stepper motor. I was thinking that the table to control it should be linked to the map input and TPS and have an adjustable ramp from vacuum to boost, so as the throttle opens it can close, but also remain partially closed under part throttle.

What do you guys think?

Not sure how the Delco would handle the current?

the delco cant handle much current, you need to run a driver board when using the flex output in PWM mode.
