Thats just a generic file from file depot, I don't have that in bin but 1 I got from a customer's stock read which eng op sys is only different by 1 & is ute instead of sedan so possibly only diff change is attached here.

BTW I zero'd the vin like they do in the file depot repository to keep private files safe.

Still no luck if anybody can help it would be appreciated. Or if is there a way to tell swap a segment with a hex editor, i'm only fairly new to this and have figured out how to swap serial and vin, can find the trans segment label just not sure on whats needed to swap the whole segment. will definitely share this once its done, i have a 5.7 4l80e set up to test it on.

I assume your car is running the VZ 5.7 PCM. Can you post up the .tun file that has the 4L80E segment in it. As mentioned earlier the .tun file you posted earlier was from a stock 5.7 4L60E VZ.

as Kojab mentioned even according to efi-live your file you linked was stock see attached screen shots!

Do you have a file that the 6L80 segment was taken from & I will see if it can be added to your's but being from different operating systems I doubt it can be done.

Thanks for that once again lads, I wanted to check it out as it was listed to have a Segment swap, but don't have my efi live with me at the moment. I have a heap of o/s that have 4l80e but none that have matching serial to a commodore so segment swap the commercial way was not achievable. when i get home tonight ill attach what i can. Do the o/s have to match or is there a way around that?
Ive currently tried some usa o/s systems and have found a 2005 express o/s that has flex fuel, 4l80e and DBC- unfortunately id need to license it to try it with HP, or get better with tunerpro, im not even sure the ADX files i have accommodate Flex fuel settings.

Just sent you an xdf file that will allow you to change trans type from 4l60e to 4l80e for the vz o/s, check your email
Not sure why but that parameter is not defined by efilive, so even if you do a file compare it wont show up.
