VT PCM wiring

Post by coastlaw »

Hi all new here, i have a ecotec v6 conversion in my CJ6 jeep (1974) that was in when i brought it but not conected up. The PCM has BWPJ on it and service no 16199728.
There is one 8 pin plug from PCM which i was told needs to be wired into ignition but i cant find any diagrams that match up with wire colors to pin locations except for ....

Red/black, white/black = data link connector (A3,F14)
Blue = power econmy switch ( F12 )
Pink = ignition ( A4 )

The others are
violet/white on A5
Brown/white on D9
Brown/white on F5
Yellow/black on D7

I cant find out what they are to try and crank it up.

The VT wiring thread in the wiring sub section should hold some of your answers .. https://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewto ... =32&t=2265

You will also have to have VATS (ant-theft system) removed from the memcal or get a BCM simulator if you are not running a factory VT BCM and matching key head.
