Re: E40 VATS PATCH ADDRESS
Just did a test interesting it's not like normal vats patch 1 is 7bytes different enabled to disabled 76 to 60
vats patch 2 is 568bytes different 6624 to 6056
Both of them are in completely different area's too!
I guess it would change in each op sys!

Neither of those patches were in that area, 1 was 9xxxx & other was Exxxx!
No worries!

Yeah normally it's just a switch 0 to 1 or vice versa, it is a weird 1 that's for sure!

Re: E40 VATS PATCH ADDRESS
Another thing that is weird with these when there setup as part slave O/s it comes as 2 sections 1024k & 256k.
But yeah double checked with a different O/s & the VATS was at the same location in that too with same way to disable!

Re: E40 VATS PATCH ADDRESS
I think the first 1024k is the engine operating system and second 256k is transmission operating system
The software I have reads them both together and saves as one bin file , if I want to load that 1280k file to efilive I need to knock 256k off it with hex editor and only engine parameters are shown

Yeah that's the stupid thing but the first file I looked at was hsv auto & it didn't have seperate files, but 2nd vehicle I checked was manual & that's where it seperated files!
