It seems strange that only a couple of lobes have issues.
Yes it is, as its always the same lobes with the same difference in wear across them.

Took a break from working on ute before it drove me crazy.

Starting to think this has intermittent ignition issue...seems go rough or stutter at random times, moreso the hotter the bay gets or longer it's been it sitting in traffic.

Can't replicate when it does it looks like delphi coils/dfi

Been driving it with vn s1 memcal, doesn't fart around down low like memcal it came with although seems to spin tyre when not playing up.

Found 1 coil had arcing & a gouge on terminal of no.3 coil....swapped with a spare, engine revs smoother...it does want to spin rear tyre middle of 1st gear now so it's improved.

Only ot 250kms out of this tank
160km to half tank another 90kms to first digit under 1/4

Noticed oil sender switch leaking oil at middle where plastic meets metal...swapped it with spare switch.

Now it's got no oil light on dash. WTF???

yeah just buy a new genuine one, the aftermarket ones are junk and only last 6 months before pissing out oil or like yours shows oil light.

Yep made sure clipped in properly, took extra care as I bent a pin on old switch few weeks back not knowing leak was another common issue.

3 pins like previous switch.

I'll be pissed if globe is blown...taken dash out 3-4 times to finally get everything working properly
