12P closed loop and idle?

Post by Dave001 »

Is there a setting in 12P to change the amount of time the ECU stays in closed loop after it drops back to idle?

The engine idles smoothly at 13.2 afr, but when I pull up at a set of lights it stays in closed loop, so is idling at 14.7, which makes the idle stutter, after around 10-15 seconds it drops back to open loop, and idles smoothly at 13.2 again.

Thanks.

Sure is, a scalar. Not sure of the wording off hand. But exactly as you said. Once under a set speed (another scalar) it then times out and goes off the idle AFR table. Heavily worked motors I usually settings around 2 - 5 seconds.

Might even want to richen up the closed loop table in the idle cell's to. Like 800 - 1200rpm 40 - 60kpa set to 14:1.

Thanks mate, found it.

Idle Fuel Param - Delay before using idle A/F ratio(manual & Auto in Drive) was set to 18 secs.
