$$ or beer in exchange of showing a noob the ropes
Hi all, i have got all the required hardware and so forth for live tuning in my VP SS.
i am wondering if there is anyone in the S.E area of Melbourne that i could bring my laptop around and you could show me the ropes.
i am happy to pay in beer or cash for your time, and hopefully i can get my head around it all.
i have read the starter guide and everything associated with it but someone who can explain things in person and show me a thing or to would be ace.
PM me if your interested, i live in Korumburra but am happy to travel to Melbourne and beyond for some training.
Cheers Daniel.

Hey Daniel,
I don't want to get your hopes up, but my workshop is in cheltenham & can "possibly" organize something if the planets align but let me know how you go...
The BBQ catch up's are a good thing to attend to get some good knowledge too!

what have you been doing so far? Where are you stuck or up to with it all?
Do you have a BIN and XDF loaded in tuner pro?

At the moment i have been able to read a standard memcal. I have a memcal that is currently in my ss that runs it very well. I want to get the tune off that memcal in my ss and put it onto the nvram so i have a good starting point to be able to run the car and get some logs. I am just unsure on hw to go about it correctly and most of all i dont want to stuff up or loose that tune on the memcal.
I hope this makes sense.
I must sound like a twit but once i get my brain around it i will be fine.

Post up the current tune from your memcal and I'll convert it to 12P for your NVRAM.

ok cool so looks like i'm in the ball park.
this tune was done for me by me emailing someone years ago with the following info.
stock 304 engine.
crane 284 cam.
supercharger with around 6psi.
5 speed manual
and exhaust system.
it ran the car but i have now shaved the head for more comp and hopefully this is a good starting point for logs ect.

Dylan, does REALLY good tune's for that sort of setup up & can do back & fourth & learn by what the changes are that are made & look to why & will learn pretty quick!
Re: $$ or beer in exchange of showing a noob the ropes
I've actually done a few 284's in person and helped a few out on here with there own gear. They come up well. Get your wideband set up and get some logs posted.
