when put into gear a cars revs would alter by around the 250 rpm mark .
my boat (Lightend crank running no flywheel just flex plate for starter )only sees 50 rpm jump in or out of gear so maybe iac is just reacting to much
the exhaust is more free flowing
maual/auto should not make difference at idle if the different load areas are mapped correctly for fuel
would love to come and have a play but I am 6 hours drive away

Maybe look at the SV5000 tune think it's AWZB off hand. See the VE difference there.

yeah I agree, get a wideband on it and fix the idle fuelling, even a small cam and/or good flowing exhausts will throw a standard tune out enough to cause issues.

Very interesting...
What is the correct values to be adjusting for idle fueling?
The main VE table ----OR---- Closed throttle VE vs RPM?
Are these compounding multipliers at idle condition or does "Closed throttle VE vs RPM" replace the main VE figures at idle?

closed throttle ve vs rpm will only be working if you have selected to enable it in the flags..... but you shouldn't need to use it unless you have a wild combo that you can't tame with normally VE adjustments.

there is an option to turn off /on closed throttle VEvs RPM I have it off in my tune so it only uses the main VE table
My thinking is if it is in closed loop it can self learn and adjust with the fuel integrator on the main table but not the closed throttle one
and the two then become "out of wack" as you use it. Where as only using the main table it gets better as you use it. (which seems to be the case with mine )
