Pcm’s Mescalero and vats

Post by Hq383 »

So new to all this so I have done a wb tonner with a injected 5 litre using a vs computer for on a previously running converted car and using wiring diagrams download off this site. Anyhow not real happy with the previous owners handy work with the tuning and the want to go stock. Anyhow scored another computer from a vr and thought I could use it as is but people are telling me I need vats removed. Soooo can someone tell me how the vats work ? Because I cannot see any interface to any other security system in the wiring diagrams does the pcm receive a signal over some transmission can someone please elaborate [img][img][/img][/img]

It's in the memcal software. It's not a difficult thing to change but you will need to download the software from the memcal change it and burn it back. I am sure if you post your location there will be someone that can help.

It's transmitted over the ALDL start bus.
