I was wondering why the stft is always modifying even after set adjustments and same conditions ,and came across the(Closed Loop PID Params - Closed Loop Rich/Lean (CrossPoint) Threshold vs Airflow)
comparing my crossover point which is set at .45v and the APNX and BLCD v6 bins set at .5v and also the blcf v8 set at .39 at idle to.45 mid and back to.38v
would I be correct in thinking that the cross over point needs to be tuned for your particular O2 sensor .
If so what would be the procedure

Re: Closed Loop PID Params - Closed Loop Rich/Lean (CrossPoi
I think STFT are always moving because of varying weather conditions of the day as density, humidity, temp etc will all be slightly different to when it was tuned.

still wondering why the crossover point is different , as I thought crossover point was 0.45 volts for all O2 sensors

I've no idea other than possibly EGT. I don't think it would be dependent on the brand of O2 sensor but rather the working conditions. I'm just guessing though.

Think it has a lot to do with sensor location and flow over the sensor from differing headers etc
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem
Re: Closed Loop PID Params - Closed Loop Rich/Lean (CrossPoi
position and angle play a small part, it's to set the centre point swing where it thinks 14.7:1 is. Some tunes differ even on same models between memcal revisions, i think holden just decided to run closed loop richer or leaner sometimes.
